Education Works
Dear Parents,
Although Glenelg School works as one R-7 school it is funded as 2 schools -a
junior primary (R-2) and a primary (3-7) school. The Department of Education and
Children's Services (DECS) has advised that the community hasan opportunity to
decide whether to formally become one R-7 school with one leadership structure
or formally revert to two schools with separate leadership structures. DECS will
support the community in deciding this through the Education Works program. A
series of information sessions and meetings is being arranged to provide
necessary information. As part of Ed Works process this space is being provided
for the school website to post frequently asked questions.
Please note: As the process continues you can ask questions via email and the
Steering Committee will respond.
