Governing Council

The Governing Council is made up of members of the school community (mainly parents), Principals and deputies and representatives of the teachers.

Leadership staff who also attend.

The Governing Council and its sub-committees, represent the school community, and after consultation will be making decisions on local educational issues, strategic planning and allocation of resources.

All Governing Council members are elected excepting the principal.

Nominating Members will be elected by ballot from the school community.

3 Staff Representatives will be elected each year by peer ballot.

The Governing Council holds a minimum of 2 meetings a term.

Parents also have an opportunity to become involved in Governing Council sub-committees. There are a range of sub-committees including Finance and Fundraising, Out Of School Hours Care, services including Canteen, Uniform and Sports,.

Governing Council will keep parents informed of their activities through the School Newsletter.
